A double wealth management win for Investment Quorum
We have always believed in being bench-marked against our peers. This helps us judge how appropriate our services are for our clients. By being bench-marked for awards we have to ensure that we are at the very top of our game as the competition out there is really tough indeed. To stand out in a crowded field takes real effort and to end up with recognition is a real boost to the whole team.
At a packed invitation-only ceremony at the Cafe Royal in London we were absolutely delighted to hear that we have picked up the inaugural Media Marketing Award at the Portfolio Adviser Wealth Management Awards. This award was based upon the ways we communicate with our clients and the quality of that contact. We were praised for our ever-fresh, informative content which is delivered in conventional and new media ways. We were singled out for, still rather unusually in financial services, embracing social media and other new communication styles such as our use of Flipboard. The photo above shows me and a very proud Peter Lowman, our CIO, with the award.
As a firm which believes strongly in talking to our clients in the way they wish to be communicated with we take this as a firm endorsement that we are on the right track in client engagement terms.
As a side note, keep an eye out for our new podcast series, which is in production and details of which will be announced to you very soon.
Coming hot on the heels of the Media Marketing Award from Portfolio Adviser we were thrilled to be selected as the Professional Adviser Firm of the Year for London, beating out six other shortlisted firms, all of who we respect hugely for their excellent financial advice and wealth management standards.
The picture above shows our Director Private Clients, Petronella West, our Chief Investment Officer, Peter Lowman and our latest advisory team member, Nick Rolf on the night proudly displaying the award.
Petronella collected the award on stage at packed presentation ceremony at The Brewery in London. Commenting on the award she said;
“Building on our early success in February this continues our strong start in 2015. It is a real honour to have made it to the top of such a strong shortlist and goes a long way to giving us a chance to showcase our financial planning expertise and skills. It is incredibly rewarding to have our ongoing efforts recognised in this way.”
The heavyweight panel of industry judges included Mark Polson, founder and principal of the Lang Cat Consultancy, Professional Adviser editor Scott Sinclair, Incisive Media editorial director Lawrence Gosling, Partnership director Phil Billingham, Rennison Consulting director Roderic Rennison and Baillie Gifford marketing director James Budden.
Personally speaking, I am very pleased for the whole Investment Quorum team. I really do think that I have an exceptional team of highly-qualified, talented individuals who, I believe, deliver some of the very best wealth management and investment advice available in the UK today. We are backed up by extremely committed administrators who always put our clients first and to have had our efforts judged and recognised by some of the most respected professionals in the industry makes me very proud indeed.
We promise not to rest on our laurels however and will continue to seek to improve and be measured whilst doing so. We trust that this double wealth management win goes a long way to proving that to you.
